Beleza: A Flight To Brazil

This evening celebrates the music and some of the styles that can be heard in Brazil - from Samba and Forró to MPB to Funk. You can expect the well known smooth sounds, but also the more obscure raw ones. The event is curated by two friends that are Brazil enthusiasts who have been traveling to various cities over the years, mainly to learn about the culture, meet people and explore new music.

For this second edition we invited ‘We Love Samba’, which is a vibrant party that celebrates Brazilian culture, featuring a band playing live music that brings together the best rhythms from samba, funk, and groovy beats. They bring an unforgettable atmosphere, making it perfect for those who love to dance and feel the authentic spirit of Brazilian music.

The DJ’s that have been invited this evening have that same love for the sounds of Brazil. And are just as excited to play those sounds (and more sounds that they found around the world) during this evening. Special guests for this evening are DJ Paulão is Paulo Sakae Tahira, from Sao Paulo. He is a DJ for almost 30 years, Radio Broadcaster, record store owner and curator for cultural projects. Next to that we have Daniel Canatagalo from Fortaleza, living in Sao Paulo. He is a professor in sociology and is a music researcher of various Brazilian styles

Food

The Skatecafe restaurant will be taken over by Chef Keyla from Sao Paulo. She has created an authentic Brazilian menu especially for this evening. Would you like to enjoy a nice dinner before dancing? Reserve a table here.
