Inspired by an unforgettable journey through Brazil, three friends have brought the vibrant energy of Brazilian nightlife back to Amsterdam. Two come from Curaçao’s neighborhood Otrobanda ("other side"), inspiring their event's name: Baile Do Outro Lado, Portuguese for "Dance from the Other Side." This symbolizes the bridge connecting Curaçao, Brazil and their current home in Europe.

The night features Brazilian DJ's touring Europe and Brazilian DJ's based in the EU playing face-to-face sets (outro lado), creating a lively musical dialogue. Local Amsterdam DJs join in, blending global rhythms coming from the city’s vibrant underground music scene.
